mizzi encourages the use of pads and helmets.
pads and helmets can save your life, and – more often – protect you from hurting yourself more severely than necessary. in sports, you can always get hurt, especially if you want to improve and push your limits, no doubt, but do you really want to have to take a long break from riding because you’ve hurt yourself?
it might look badass if you ride without protective gear, but the risks are not worth it. we have seen lots of bad accidents in the past years and in some cases, protection could have helped to reduce the grade of injury.
you should always be aware that you alone are responsible for your health, and not let others who ride without protection influence you, even if they are very good riders/pros.
of course, in the end, it’s up to everyone to decide for themselves if they want to wear protection and how much protective gear they wish to wear, but here at mizzi – even if we post videos with people not wearing any protection – we encourage the use of protective gear at all times when performing action sports.
you have got only one brain and body, make sure to protect them, so you can shred as long as possible!
