Nikita Ducarroz, Girl Rider: How BMX Changed My Life

here’s a very inspiring video, that bmx rider Nikita Ducarroz put together for a school project. she talks about how she got into riding, what she has achieved during her time as a rider (she also runs the clothing company FDV clothing!)and also about her anxiety issues.
i find it very brave of her to expose herself this way, because i know from personal experience how hard it is to talk about such weaknesses.
i, too, suffer from anxiety, and i know that it still is a topic that doesn’t get talked about enough, so people who also experience anxiety might often feel like they are strange, not normal, etc when in fact, anxiety issues are pretty common and with professional help can be overcome, leading to a life that’s more fun!
