On the 16th of March 2019, the first Girls Park Attack will take place. Organized by the GCD Crew (GCD meaning “Girls Can Do”) in cooperation with Blue Tomato, the day will focus on girls and women who want to get better at riding the snowpark or who even want to try it out for the first time. The GCD Crew is a group of women who have found together through their love for snowboarding. They will help others to grow their bag of tricks and to better their skills at park riding. Besides the costs for the lift ticket, the whole session is for free, so don’t miss this chance to get to know others and to up the ante!
on the 3rd of january 2016, a beginner park coaching for snowboarders and skiers organized by Action Cats took place at the Neighborhood Snowpark in the Weinebene resort in Styria near Graz. the Neighborhood Snowpark crew did all they could to provide the ladies with the best conditions possible for their camp. the aim of the Action Cats coachings is to enable women to get to know other female riders and experience a joyful day on the mountain.
Babs Bayer was the snowboard coach of the day, taking care of the riders who were very eager to improve their park skills. they worked on basics like 50-50 sliding the box, but also on harder tricks like boardslides. they also improved their kicker skills.
for the first time, skiers also participated in an Action Cats coaching, they received lots of pointers by skicoach Felix Ehmann.
everyone was able to learn something new.
at the end of the coaching session, all riders received a beautiful goodie bag from Blue Tomato and one lucky raffle winner was able to take home an Action Cats hoodie designed by Naja Puhan from Black Bear & White Bear.
it was a successful day for all participants with a lot of happy faces all around.
